Kedarnath is the prominent Hindu pilgrimage site located in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. Kedarnath is part of the Char Dham Yatra, which is a revered pilgrimage circuit in Hinduism.
Kedarnath is Situated in the Rudraprayag district, Kedarnath is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple is located at a height of 3,583 meters (11,755 feet) above sea level, making it one of the highest among the 12 Jyotirlingas. Devotees believe that visiting Kedarnath and offering prayers here can wash away their sins. The temple is surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery, adding to its spiritual ambiance.
Kedarnath attract millions of devotees and tourists every year, not only for its religious significance but also for its stunning natural beauty nestled in the Himalayas. This site hold immense spiritual importance for Hindus and is considered sacred destination for seeking blessings and spiritual upliftment.
DAY 0 : DEPART FROM DELHI
Departure in AC Tempo Traveller, Delhi depart to Sitapur/Guptkashi, Pickup from Haridwar and Rishikesh Also available.
DAY 1 : DEVPRAYAG TO SITAPUR
Halt at Devprayag, freshen up a bit as we drive to Guptkashi/sitapur. Enroute we will cross Rudraprayag. Reach Guptkashi/sitapur late in the afternoon.
Dinner and overnight stay in Guptkashi/sitapur.
DAY 2 : GUPTKASHI TO GAURIKUND AND KEDARNATH TREK
Wake up & start your day early. Have breakfast and leave for Gaurikund (Kedarnath trek basepoint). Start your trek to Kedarnath (16 km, 7-8 hours trek). Reach Kedarnath by evening.Check-in to the guest house at Kedarnath and experience live aarti at one of the highest abode of Lord Shiva.
Dinner and overnight stay in Kedarnath.
DAY 3 : KEDARNATH TO GUPTKASHI
Wake up and have your breakfast. Visit Bhairavnath temple then start trek down to Gaurikund. Reach Gaurikund by evening and drive to Guptkashi.
Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Guptkashi/sitapur.
DAY 4 : GUPTKASHI TO DELHI VIA RISHIKESH
Wake up and have your breakfast.Departure from Guptkashi via Rishikesh. Reach Delhi by noon next day(Day 05).
